This display module features Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a 16:9 wide aspect ratio. It utilizes IPS (In-Plane Switching) display technology, which provides exceptional color saturation and stable image performance.
The 15.6-inch TFT display offers vibrant and accurate color reproduction, consistent image stability, strong contrast ratios, and deep black levels. It provides 176° viewing angles in all directions (up/down, left/right), ensuring optimal visibility from various perspectives. The IPS technology enables a broad color gamut of 80% NTSC.
With a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and a white LED backlight, the display produces bright and colorful images. The brightness specification is 1500cd/m², and the half-brightness lifetime is rated at 70,000 hours. The integrated LED driver circuit allows for flicker-free dimming from 0% to 100% using a PWM input signal.
Benson Huang, the marketing manager at JDIT-K, highlights that the new 15.6-inch TFT module is an ideal display solution for outdoor applications, in-vehicle systems, marine vessels, and medical equipment. The display's optical performance and image characteristics ensure vivid colors and high-contrast images that can be viewed easily from all directions.
The display module supports a 50-pin data interface that enables dual-channel LVDS and 8-bit RGB, providing a color palette of up to 16.7 million colors. It operates within a wide temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The external mechanical dimensions of the module are 367.86mm (length) x 219.51mm (height) x 14.71mm (depth), with an active display area of 344.16mm (length) x 193.59mm (width).
Typical applications for the 15.6-inch TX40D202VM0BAA display module include EV charging stations, transportation systems, medical equipment, information kiosks, and rugged tablets.
